Maureen joined the Greenville community in 2019 after finding that Greenville offered the perfect combination of weather, community, and recreation. After living in many metro areas around the US, Greenville truly checks all the boxes and she is delighted to call the Upstate her home.
For more than a decade, she worked in a leadership role of a major gift team in higher education and helped facilitate the powerful connection of students who have a dream with those motivated to change the world with their philanthropy.
In January 2022, she joined the development team at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville.
When Maureen and her husband arrived in Greenville, their loft apartment overlooked the Shoeless Joe Jackson Memorial Park where they could see teams playing under the lights as the sun set. This is when she heard about the legacy of Shoeless Joe and his life in West Greenville, which led to a curiosity to learn more about this special man. Maureen is delighted to join the board of the museum and continue the work of honoring the life and legacy of Joe Jackson while championing the importance of education and literacy in our community.
